:material-penguin:{ .anim-heart }About
I’m a Principal SRE working for a Cloud Security company, and work out of Bangalore.
I am addicted to books . Classic Literature (Vladimir Nabokov ), Popular Science (Richard Dawkins ) and Science Fiction (Greg Egan) are the genres I prefer.
The picture at the end of this page shows all the books I own, as of Feb 2015.
I seem to prefer breadth over depth, and enjoy playing games (mostly
on my Xbox Series X
these days), fiddling with
GNU/Linux (Fedora or WSL2 on windows), Emacs
and Python
.
I occasionally like to draw – but not as well as I’d like.
I have an adorable little daughter (Update Mar-2016 — and son!).
🚀 About this site#
I use Hugo - a fast static site generator - for this website.
I write content in markdown and push it to a github repo , and a trigger there builds and pushes the site to Cloudflare Pages .
There are some tiny easter eggs here and there.. look around!
These days I primarily write content using vim on a terminal or Typora if I want a more wysiwyg experience.
I use Gemini’s antigravity to build new features in a loop; see AI for more.

:material-skull:{ .anim-pulse }My Blog - I used to cross-post my content here too; there were times when I liked WordPress (to post my artwork) and times when I liked this Hugo site. Structurally, I prefer the digital-garden feel of this site over the chronological format of a blog. Abandoned at this point.

:material-unicorn-variant:{ .anim-bounce }Asha’s blog - My daughter’s WordPress blog. She writes all the content; I just help with uploading images and post tagging/categorization.

:material-bird:{ .anim-flip }Siddharth’s blog - My son’s WordPress. I help him with choosing titles and uploading pics; he figures out the rest.

Books I own, on LibraryThing and GoodReads .

Github Profile - Mostly this site and my dotfiles.

:material-skull:{ .anim-pulse }My Steam Profile - Not used much.

My TrueAchievements Profile - I’m not an achievement hunter but it tracks my Xbox progress quite well.
📖 Books I own#
This is not up to date and I’ve stowed most of them away. But it is a good representation of my tastes.
