:material-drama-masks:{ .anim-flip } Story-Driven & Interactive

Choices matter. Narrative-heavy experiences and interactive cinema.

The Expanse (2026)#

Another good Telltale game. The main addition here is some fun navigation in zero-g.

ā¤ļø Dispatch (2026)#

Whip-smart writing and an immersive story make this a must-play. You play an out-of-luck superhero who has to manage a misfit team of heroes for hire.

ā¤ļø Immortality (2022)#

I’ve never played anything quite like this! A true work of art. A fevered weekend of uncovering secrets through film clips.

ā¤ļø Split Fiction (2025)#

One of the best games I’ve played in the past few years! Exquisite co-op gameplay and imagination. Played with my daughter and son.

ā¤ļø Hellblade 2 (2024)#

No HUD, no map, no health bar, no power-ups, no levelling up. Just a pure, visceral, cinematic experience. It hit the sweet spot for me.

ā¤ļø Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (2024)#

A masterpiece of storytelling through gameplay. I’ve played this gem twice now and it’s as good as I remember it. Highly recommended.

As Dusk Falls (2025)#

An interactive, choose-your-own-adventure game about a robbery gone wrong. Well-developed characters.

The Quarry (2025) & Man of Medan (2021)#

Fun horror adventures. Hit the sweet spot in terms of game length and atmosphere.

Life is Strange (2019)#

Worth completing for the passion the protagonist has for photography. Reminded me of Beyond Good and Evil.

Pentiment (2023)#

Lovely atmosphere, like a visual novel. The first half is particularly engrossing.

Firewatch (2021)#

A short mystery game with lovely visuals.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier (2022)#

The plot is well-made and the character dynamics are interesting.

Last Stop & Lost Words: Beyond the Page (2021)#

Touching, light, and funny stories. Lost Words is a child coping with loss through stories.
